Stress Management

A Calmer Way To Prepare

Breathe. Settle. Begin again.

Guided Sudarshan Kriya meditation and breathing sessions for students and parents — a quiet space to release exam anxiety, steady the mind, and come back to what matters.

The Practice

Rooted in Sudarshan Kriya

Our sessions are built around Sudarshan Kriya, a well-known rhythmic breathing meditation, alongside the foundational techniques that prepare the body and mind for it.

☯

Sudarshan Kriya

A rhythmic breathing meditation that clears stress and restores calm, clarity and energy.

∿

Anulom Vilom

Alternate nostril breathing to balance the nervous system and quiet a racing mind.

◐

Bhastrika

Energising bellows breath used to shake off fatigue and sharpen focus before study.

◑

3-Stage Pranayama

A gentle, guided breath pattern that settles the body before deeper meditation.

For students

  • Instant relief from exam-day nerves and racing thoughts
  • Better focus and sleep during revision periods
  • A tool they can use themselves, anywhere, in minutes

For parents

  • A calm space of your own, away from the pressure of results
  • Practical ways to stay steady when your child is stressed
  • Guided sessions you can do alongside your child, together

Try a 60-second reset

How It Works

What a session feels like

1

Arrive & settle

A few minutes to arrive, breathe, and let go of the day so far.

2

Preparatory breathing

Anulom Vilom, Bhastrika and 3-stage pranayama to prepare the body.

3

Sudarshan Kriya

The guided rhythmic breathing meditation itself, at the centre of the session.

4

Rest & integrate

A few quiet minutes to notice how you feel before returning to the day.

“Five minutes of real stillness can do more for an exam-day mind than another hour of revision.”

A Few Questions

Good to know

Do I need any experience with meditation?

+

No. Sessions are guided from the very first breath, and the techniques are simple to follow whatever your starting point.

Is this only for students?

+

Not at all. Parents are just as welcome, on their own or alongside their child.

Will this replace medical or mental health support?

+

No. This is guided meditation and breathing practice from our tutors, not clinical or medical care. If we're ever concerned you or your child needs more support, we'll say so and point you toward it.

How long is a session?

+

Sessions are relaxed and unhurried. We'll confirm the exact length and format when you book.

Do I need any equipment?

+

Just a quiet spot to sit and a device to join from. Comfortable clothing helps.
